Hydration is not simply about bladders its about being able to get the right volume of liquid whilst retaining your personal preference for the liquid container of your choice according to terrain, water acessibility/potability and temperature.
The Bladder tube can be routed either over the shoulder or under the arm which reduces leakage and allows the bite valve to be kept ice free in a pocket if necessary.
